Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

DECA Diving does everything possible to make sure your order is 100% correct before leaving our warehouse.  If for some reason you are not completely satisfied you may return your item(s) in their original packaging and unused condition within 30 days for a refund or credit.  The
customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping to DECA Diving unless the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) in which case we will pay the return shipping costs.  Returned items that had qualified for Free Shipping will be charged for the original shipping amount plus restocking fee if applicable.

Restocking Fee

Some products including, but not limited to, special order products, non-inventory items, sized items and certain quantities of items are subject to a restocking fee.  These fees differ from manufacturer to manufacturer.  

Custom and Clearance Products

Special order items, custom fitted or custom made items are non-refundable.  Custom orders must be paid in full at time of ordering.  DECA Diving guarantees the items under the manufacturer's warranty but does not guarantee fit and function as it may pertain to your use.  All clearance/closeout items are non-refundable.  

Returning your product

  1. Obtain a RA number by calling us at 805-928-4500 or use the Contact Us form with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
  2. Items must be in original packaging and unused condition
  3. RA number marked clearly on outside of package
  4. Include a copy of your receipt, a short description of the reason for return, your name, address and phone numbers so we may contact you with any questions.

Helmet Inspections and Repairs

DECA Diving offers service for Kirby Morgan helmets, bandmasks, full face masks, regulators, and air control systems.  The customer is responsible for shipping to and from DECA Diving.  Prior to returning your product you must contact DECA Diving to receive a Return Authorization number (RA).  Goods returned without authorization will be refused.  Please call 805-928-4500 to inquire about repairs.

Damaged in Delivery or Defective Products

DECA Diving does everything possible to package your products for safe delivery, however accidents in shipping do occasionally happen.  Goods are shipped FOB origin.  This means the purchaser owns the merchandise in transit and is at risk for any damage that occurs in shipping.  Please inspect your delivery upon arrival.  If you discover any damage, report it to the carrier immediately.  Retail all packaging for future inspection.  DO NOT return the damaged merchandise to DECA Diving without prior approval.  In most cases claims will be handled by the carrier and you.  For assistance with your claim contact our customer service department.

If you find a product to be defective, we will work to resolve the issue, however you must call us prior to returning the item.  We will cover the return shipping on defective items.

Terms

All goods returned must be in original packaging with manufacturer's labels intact.  The item must include all original materials, manuals and blank warranty cards and any items included in the original package.  Any printed or electronic items must be unopened including CDs, DVDs and books.


Shipping Policy

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.  We ship orders via FedEx, UPS, and USPS.  At checkout, you will be required to choose a shipping method, and your shipping charges will automatically be calculated and added to your order.  Contact us if alternative shipping methods are required or for special handling instructions. 
Goods are shipped FOB Origin.  Delivery to the carrier constitutes delivery to the customer and we cannot be responsible for delays in shipping or delivery.  UPS will not deliver to a PO Box address.

Free shipping

Kirby Morgan helmets are the only products that qualify for free shipping at this time.  Free shipping items will ship complete at one time.  Orders will ship ground service via FedEx, UPS, or USPS.  DECA Diving reserves the right to choose between these three carriers.  Only shipments to the contiguous 48 states qualifies for free shipping.

Returned items that were sent by Free Shipping will be refunded or credited, less the original shipping charges. 

We reserve the right to cancel the Free Shipping promotion at any time.  The Free Shipping promo applies to retail customers who order online.

International Orders

DECA Diving ships worldwide including to APO/FPO addresses.  

International Shipments: The recipient of the package is responsible for all duties, taxes, and brokerage fees.  Duties and taxes and brokerage fees are not included in the price of the items or the shipping and handling fee we charge.  Please check with your local agency to determine what these additional costs will be prior to making a purchase.  

DECA Diving advises international customers to choose either FedEx or UPS.  While USPS is a more affordable shipping option, we warn that lost packages are harder and take longer to track.  We do not recommend USPS for international packages.

DECA Diving has no control over the delivery once the shipment leaves our warehouse.  Late or undelivered packages are the responsibility of the shipping company and beyond our control.

Order Verification

All orders are subject to verification by DECA Diving.  Due to the high occurrence of online credit card fraud, DECA Diving uses a third party program called SignifyD.  In some cases, SignifyD will require additional verification.  Providing the necessary information will speed the delivery process.
