Nuvair™455 is suitable for use in reciprocating compressors operating on up to 40% oxygen enriched air. However, as the oxygen content increases, the oil life will decrease. Amber in color, Nuvair 455’s compressor fluid is the only that meets FDA guidelines for food grade additives. This special formula features low volatility for less carry over and safer operation. Unlike most mineral and synthetic lubricants on the market, Nuvair 455 will not produce harmful by-products when used in high O2 environments.
